Snow Joe Snow Throwers

A relative newcomer to the snowblower market, Snow Joe makes electric snowblowers catering to the casual user. They only manufacture two models, both of which are for smaller jobs. SnowJoe blowers are cheap, easy to use, and easy to store. They've become very popular over the last few years, competing with similar size models from more established names like the Toro 1800.

Snow Joe 322 12" Electric Snow Thrower

With a cut depth of 4 inches, this Snow Joe isn't designed for heavy duty work. But it only weighs 12.5 pounds and is a bargain at under $100. Use it for walkways, decks, and small driveways. This snow blower may not be the best choice for the next nor'easter, but is well-suited for milder climates that receive small amounts of snow at a time.

Snow Joe 622U 19-Inch Electric Snow Thrower

The big brother of the Snow Joe 322, this blower has a cut depth of 11 inches and can throw snow up to 20 feet. It is able to do everything its little brother can and more. Weighing 42 pounds, it's still relatively easy to transport and compact. The Snow Joe 622U can handle moderate jobs, but if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow, you will probably want to invest in a more powerful gas snow blower.

Electric snowblowers are great because they require little maintenance, no gas, and no oil. They're easy to start and lightweight, making them easy for anyone to use.
