A Toro snowblower is a solid choice for any home. Toro makes snow blowers of all shapes and sizes, but is best known for their smaller electric models. The small size of these models makes them easier to transport and wield, but don't confuse small size and portability for a lack of power! Toro also makes a number of a good midrange gas-powered snow blowers. The company is well-respected in the power equipment industry, and a snowblower from them will last many winters. Note that some of the smaller Toro snowblower models may not be adequate for your driveway. I only recommend a Toro if you live in an area that receives light snow or if you have a small driveway or walkway. You might also use one for your porch or patio.
| Toro Power ShovelThis is the smallest Toro snowblower on the market. It's suited for the lightest of jobs, but is very popular. Only weighing 17 pounds, it has a cut depth of six inches and can easily be hung up for storage. The Toro Power Shovel's best feature in my opinion is its ability to convert into a power broom for year-round use. Although I have a full-size snowblower, I keep one of these in my shed to clear the deck in summer and winterBuy on Amazon |

Toro 1800This electric snow thrower is one of the bestselling models. At only 24 pounds, it's easy for anyone to use, but best kept away from big tasks. I recommend it for use in areas that receive light to moderate snowfall and for removing snow from smaller driveways, decks, and sidwalks. Because it's so small, you won't even notice it in your garage or shed. The Toro 1800 has a 12-inch cut depth.Buy on Amazon |
